ON LOCATION / CHARITY / TRUCK COMMUNITY
Tuf Treads
More than just trucks.
The trucks, the people and a community coming together for a good cause.
A truck show is about more than the vehicles on display. It is about the people who prepare them, the families who come along, the organisers who bring everyone together and the cause behind the day.
At the Tuf Treads Charity Truck Show in Cross Hands in August 2026, those ingredients came together in a celebration of the transport community. Working lorries, classic vehicles and carefully presented show trucks shared the space with exhibitors, supporters and familiar faces from across the scene.
The business behind the show.
Tuf Treads is a family-run Welsh tyre business with roots dating back to 1979. Its work spans tyre services, commercial fleet support and retreading, with round-the-clock assistance helping keep vehicles moving. That connection with transport makes the show a natural meeting point for the people and businesses who work in the industry.
For this event, the focus moved beyond the working day. The trucks became a reason to stop, catch up and enjoy the pride that owners and drivers put into their vehicles.
A community coming together for charity.
The show supported the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity, giving the gathering a purpose beyond the display itself. Owners, families, organisers, exhibitors and visitors all helped create the atmosphere of a community coming together for a good cause.
Our photographs include Oliver Jordan Transport alongside other operators and individual vehicles. From the wider line-ups to cab details, trade displays and conversations around the showground, there was a story at every turn.
Through the Welsh Drones lens.
Our team captured the event from the ground and the air, combining photographs with FPV footage to show both the scale of the gathering and a closer view of the trucks. This selection brings together a few of our favourite moments rather than every frame from the weekend.
Behind every polished truck is a story. Behind every great truck show is a community. And when that community comes together for charity, it is something worth celebrating.
